It Happened In Pentecost! It Really Did!

I told the story Brother Frank Edgin related to me about his revelation of and conversion to the One God and Jesus Name message. But his departure from this life was no less dramatic. 

On the day of Brother Frank Edgin's death he called for me to come. When I arrived, all his family were gathered at his bedside and he was encouraging them to live for God.

After talking a few minutes Brother Edgin started looking toward the door and soon asked his son and me to help him over there. We helped him to the door and almost immediately a big smile spread over his face and he exclaimed, "There they come!" His son asked who and he replied, "You can't see them!" Then he asked to go back to his bed and he started encouraging his family again.

After Brother Edgin lay in his bed a few minutes a worried look came over his face and he requested to be taken to the door again. When he stood looking out he became excited and said, "They're almost here! It won't be long now!" 

As we placed him back on the bed, Brother Edgin started telling each of his family and myself goodbye and admonishing us to be ready when our time comes. Then with a smile on his face, he folded his arms and closed his eyes in rest. 

The funeral service of Brother Frank Edgin was like a revival service. It was charged by the power of God and filled with an air of expectancy.
